For the affogato

  • 1 scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream

  • 1 shot of very hot espresso (either 36 g or 36 ml)

For the affogato coffee

  1. Place a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream in a cup or glass bowl. Drizzle with hot coffee. Serve with cookies or wafers.

Note

If you don’t have an ice cream maker, you can blitz the Vanilla Coffee Creamer for 1 to 2 minutes in a food processor or electric mixer until it reaches a cloud-like consistency. Freeze for 2 hours.

Blitz the frozen creamer once again in the processor and freeze for another hour. Repeat the process one last time until you obtain a firm and creamy consistency. Pour the whipped mixture into a sealed container and freeze for 6 hours. Leave it to soften for a few minutes before serving if needed.
